BOB BEARDEN was a paratrooper with the 507th PIR during World War II.  From the epilogue: "As I look back at my life at the age of eighty-four, I can truly say it has been an adventure.  I have never paid much attention to my age when learing or starting something new.  My newest accomplishment - and I use the word lightly - is my use of the computer to type this book and email chapters to my editor."  Bob lives in Belton, Texas.

OUR STORY
Yamaha of Killeen, Inc. ( doing business as 'Texas Motor Sports)was founded and organized in the fall of 1972 by Robert L. (Bob) Bearden as a way to have fun with his 5 children. We opened our doors on April 16, 1973 in a converted lumber yard on business hwy 190 in Killeen.  We operated there for 35 years, still under the same family ownership.  As an 82nd Airborne soldier and ex-POW who jumped on D-Day at Normandy during WWII, our father is emphatic about the way we treat our customers, especially the military.
